Another Man Done Gone

I've heard from some reliable sources that Jim Simmerman passed away a night or two ago.

I won't say that he was a wonderful man. I hardly knew him. What I can say, that he was an exceptional poet and teacher, and that he was kind to me, is enough to make me very very sad.
